"Blue" is probably closest to my roots of all the Raindrops songs with its old folk/ old country style. I spent the first 24 years of my life in West Virginia, and I still remember listening to the old songs, complete with their window of transparancy as the narrators experienced and expressed living complete with love, break ups, drinks, and depression. I, too, feel as I live, even in the simple things. There is a sweet familiarity to the melancholy.

Also know if you feel too blue, there are people around you for you. You aren't alone. Sending love, --Jenn
